Junior Secondary (JSS 1–3)
Our Junior Secondary Curriculum Our Junior Secondary School curriculum provides students with a broad and balanced academic foundation, allowing them to develop knowledge and skills across Mathematics and Science, Humanities, and Business Studies. This prepares students to discover their strengths and interests as they progress into Senior Secondary School. Senior Secondary (SSS 1–3)
Our Senior Secondary Curriculum Our Senior Secondary School curriculum provides students with specialized academic pathways that build on the foundation established at the Junior Secondary level. Through the four fields, students are guided to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for higher education, professional development and future careers. Four Academic Fields Our Senior Secondary School programme offers students the opportunity to pursue their academic interests through four specialized fields: 1. Mathematics & Science Field This field develops students’ analytical, scientific and technological knowledge, preparing them for further studies and careers in science, medicine, engineering, technology and related disciplines. Subjects Offered: Mathematics Further Mathematics Physics Chemistry Biology Computer Studies Data Processing Agricultural Science 2. Humanities Field This field develops students’ communication, critical thinking, cultural awareness and understanding of society, preparing them for further studies in the humanities, social sciences, law, education and related disciplines. Subjects Offered: English Language Literature-in-English Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) Igbo Language Yoruba Language Economics Geography History Government French Language Civic Education Fine Art 3. Technology Field This field provides students with practical and creative skills, equipping them with knowledge applicable to technical, vocational and design-related areas. Subjects Offered: Technical/Engineering Drawing Foods and Nutrition Clothing and Textile 4. Business Studies Field This field equips students with knowledge and practical skills in accounting, commerce, office administration and business practices, preparing them for further studies and careers in business and finance. Preparing for what's next.
West African Examinations Council — Conducts the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for senior secondary school students. Required for admission into universities and other tertiary institutions.
Basic Education Certificate Examination — Taken at the end of Junior Secondary School (JSS 3) to qualify students for progression into Senior Secondary School.
General Certificate of Education — An external examination for private candidates and students seeking to obtain or improve their secondary school qualifications.
Scholastic Assessment Test — An internationally recognized standardized test used for admission into universities and colleges, especially in the United States.
International English Language Testing System — A globally recognized English language proficiency test for study, work, and migration.
Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française — Internationally recognized French language proficiency certifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education.
